Rule 4-2-1, which permits teammates to wear like-colored uniform pieces, was expanded to include all uniforms and involves nine guidelines. Rule 4-2-1a states that all uniform tops (with the exception of the libero, as noted in Rule 4-2-2) and bottoms shall be like-colored. Rule 4-2-1e permits the top and/or bottom of all uniforms to include the school’s name, nickname, logo, mascot and/or team member’s name.

Rule 9-8-1i Replay: A replay is the act of putting the ball in play without awarding a loss of rally/point and without a rotation for the serve. A replay may be declared when the ball contacts the cable(s) and/or diagonal pole(s) used to retract a ceiling-suspended net system and, in the judgement of the referee, the ball would have remained in play had the cable(s) and/or pole(s) not been there and a player is able to make a legitimate play for the ball.
